We organize basic medical care, treat the injured, carry out vaccination campaigns, train local staff and build up medical infrastructure. In long-term aid projects our teams fight diseases like tuberculosis, malaria, sleeping sickness, and HIV/AIDS.

Join MSF in our dedicated team of medical professionals on the ground as a Gynecologist in YEMEN is more than a job, it’s a journey to:

…champion safe motherhood: Lead the fight against pregnancy and childbirth complications.

…be part of a lifesaving team: Collaborate with other medical professionals to make a tangible impact.

What you’ll do:

  • Perform gynecological and obstetrical procedures, adhering to MSF’s high standards.
  • Oversee maternity ward operations and ensure optimal care for mothers and newborns.

The access to health facilities is very limited.

It has a catchment area of 360.000 people with an average of 500 deliveries/month. Due to the ongoing conflict the population must cope with very poor living conditions, chronic malnutrition and poor antenatal care and family planning activities available. The access to health facilities is very limited.

Why Choose MSF?

  • Make a real difference in a country facing immense hardship.
  • Gain invaluable experience working in a global humanitarian organization.
  • Be part of a supportive and collaborative team environment.
  • Work for an organization with a strong commitment to independence and neutrality, allowing you to focus solely on providing medical care based on need, not political agendas.

What do we offer:

  • A long term perspective and career development opportunities if you would like to continue after the first assignment.
  • A salary sufficient to cover costs at home while you are on assignment.
  • Holiday leave.
