EuropeAid ha recentemente reso pubblici i risultati del bando DEAR “Raising public awareness of development issues and promoting development education in the European Union”, dedicato alla sensibilizzazione e all’educazione sui temi dello sviluppo da parte di OSC e autorità locali. Un bando importante per la sua dotazione finanziaria e molto atteso dalle organizzazioni e dagli enti perché rappresenta una delle poche opportunità di finanziamento alle attività di awareness ed educazione alla cittadinanza globale disponibili con una certa continuità. L’edizione 2016 aveva messo a disposizione quasi 93 milioni di euro per azioni di Global learning education e Campaigning & advocacy che coinvolgessero almeno 10 paesi dell’Unione. Il bilancio dei progetti approvati è molto favorevole per le OSC e LA italiane. Dei 23 progetti approvati 7 sono stati proposti da applicant italiani, 4 da autorità locali e 3 da ONG.
Il bando aveva sollevato diverse critiche soprattutto da parte della società civile a causa di una serie di nuove norme che rendevano di fatto più difficile la partecipazione di entità medie e piccole oltre che costringere alla formazione di mega-partenariati.

COMUNE DI TORINO - RECOGNIZE AND CHANGE - 2.461.731 €
REGIONE EMILIA ROMAGNA - Shaping fair cities: integrating Agenda 2030 within local policies in times of great migration and refugees flows. A campaign and advocacy project led and implemented by LAs -3.362.121 €
REGIONE TOSCANA - Walk the (Global) Walk: mobilizing European young people in support of the Sustainable Development Goals - 2.830.235 €
CISP - "GET UP AND GOALS! Global education time: an international network of learning and active schools for SDGs." - 3.532.744 €
FONDAZIONE PUNTO SUD - There isn’t a PLANet B! Win-win strategies and small actions for big impacts on climate change - 4.112.578 €
PROGETTOMONDO MLAL - Start the change! - Educational model on global active citizenship to reach the Sustainable Development Goals with a special focus on the relationship between migration and inequality -5.525.673 €
