Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) is an international, independent, medical humanitarian organisation that delivers emergency aid to people affected by armed conflict, epidemics, natural disasters and exclusion from healthcare.
As a partner section, MSF Italy is engaged in saving lives and alleviating suffering through fundraising; communication and advocacy, recruitment and deployment of field workers; as well as running operations in Italy and supporting international operations through expertise and other kinds of direct support.
The Marketing & Content Unit has the objective of developing fundraising content, campaigns and events instrumental to the achievement of the set annual objectives.
Reporting to the Head of Marketing & Content, the Fundraising Campaigns Manager identifies the optimal strategy to maximise contacts and returns from integrated campaigns (e.g. 5×1000; legacies, sms, …), guaranteeing the achievement of set objectives and compliance with budget costs and MSF communication principles.

Responsabilità:
The Fundraising Campaigns Manager:
1) Identifies and develops fundraising campaign strategies (5×1000, legacies, sms, …) and manages their implementation with internal working groups and external stakeholders
- Elaborates the activity plan by managing the assigned budget and monitoring the related investments;
- Identifies agencies for the development of creativity, in collaboration with colleagues in the Fundraising Content area, and manages relations with suppliers;
- Where necessary, coordinates internal transversal working groups for the management of campaign-related activities;
- Is responsible for campaign media planning and manages relations with the media centre and advertising agencies;
- Coordinates the production of promotional materials, communications to donors and promotion through MSF’s internal channels and stakeholders;
- Actively participates in national and international coordination platforms related to integrated fundraising campaigns;
- On request, participates in innovative projects aimed at improving MSF’s fundraising performance.
2) Coordinates the work of the e-Prep team in case of emergencies
- Is the contact person and coordinates the e-prep (emergency preparation) fundraising team in case of emergencies;
- Coordinates with the contact persons of the other areas, Digital and Communication in primis, for real time updates on materials and to ensure consistency of messages between the various channels (online, offline, telemarketig, etc.);
- Is responsible for the coordination of activities, monitoring of results and related reporting.
Qualifiche:
Essential requirements – experience, knowledge & background
- University Degree
- Excellent knowledge of fundraising and marketing techniques
- Excellent budget management skills
- Good knowledge of the advertising market in the Italian context
- Good knowledge of digital marketing
- Good knowledge of marketing analysis
- Good knowledge of the English language (C2)
- Good knowledge of Office package
- At least 5 years’ experience in the non-profit sector or in communication and/or marketing agencies
- At least 3 years’ experience in a similar role

- Bachelor’s degree in economics, B&A or communication sciences, Master’s degree in FR
Positions details:
Contract: Fixed-term contract of 12 months with potential extension. Full-time. Level I of Italian CCNL of Commerce.
Gross Annual Salary: 35.269,22€ – max 42.619,22 €. Salary will be commensurate to the experience of the selected candidate.
Expected start date: 02/09/2024
Location: Hybrid. MSF Italy Rome or Milan and remote.
