Scadenza candidature 17/08/2025 JOB PURPOSE The role of FSL & CSSP Advisor contributes to SC Italy Programme Quality Innovation and Impact strategy and ensures that interventions falling under the FSL & CSSP themes are designed and implemented with high quality thematic inputs. The Advisor provides targeted contribution to proposals, ongoing projects, and selected strategic initiatives, ensuring thematic quality and alignment with SCI standards and methodologies. In collaboration within PQII (other TAs and MEAL), Programme Development and Management, Institutional Partnership and Business Development, the FSL & CSSP Advisor contributes to SC Italy strategic objectives, under the supervision of the Thematic and Innovation Lead. RESPONSIBILITIES

• Proposal development: Provide technical guidance and/or support in proposal development, ensuring that programmatic innovation is captured if needed and relevant?
• Project implementation: Provide technical guidance and/or support to COs on projects implemented in SC Italy portfolio
• Engagement: Provide technical support to engagement work, and for fundraising and communication materials’ development ?, if needed
• Coordination and synergy: Ensure strong synergy and coordination with all SC Italy relevant teams
• Capacity strengthening: Support COs capacity building, based on needs identified jointly with COs, ensuring coordination and synergy with SCA.

FINAL RESULTS Proposal development + Project implementation

• At least 2 project proposals supported
• At least 4 projects’ implementation supported with technical inputs and advise

Engagement:

• Technical inputs provided to contribute toengagement processes -including advocacy, fundraising and communication materials- as needed

Coordination and synergy:

• Participation to all meetings of relevant technical groups

Coordinated capacity strengthening:

• Materials prepared to ensure capacity strengthening events can be delivered to COs

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND SOFT SKILLS

• Education to Master level in a relevant subject or equivalent field experience
• Significant experience undertaking FSL and Child Sensitive Social Protection Advisory roles (at least 3 years)
• Ability to work both in a hands-on implementation and advisory capacity
• Experience of contributing to successful funding proposals for institutional and private donors
• Ability to write clear and effective assessment and project reports with high level of written and spoken English
• Flexibility, capacity to work in team and to adapt to various levels of interlocutors
• Commitment to the aims and principles of Save the Children. In particular, a good understanding of the Save the Children mandate and child focus and an ability to ensure this continues to underpin our support
